About a week ago I was on the computer and a mouse ran out from under my feet, sat on the stairs and stared at me. We have lived in this house for almost five years now and this is the first mouse I have ever seen in here. Anyways so I set a bunch of mouse traps thinking I would kill it quick. It has been about a week and I keep seeing this yucky thing. The traps are not working.

So tonight I was on the computer and I saw it again, it was hiding between my computer tower and the leg of the table. I ran upstairs to tell Nate to come and help me kill it. Ten minutes later after taking a shower he walks downstairs with his safety goggles on and his BB gun. YIKES SCARY. I lifted the tower and the mouse raced to get away. Anyway to make a long story short Nate just killed a mouse with a BB gun while the mouse was on a dead run.
I am so proud of him!!!

Homework

I know she doesn't look like one of mine, but she is still pretty dang cute. Thanks Emily for letting me use Alivia for my homework, it was alot of fun!!

Today I finally got the chance to have my first newborn
photo shoot, I guess if that is what you call it. I am not
quite a professional yet, but someday maybe I will be.
Thanks Lanora & Dave for letting me take pictures of
your precious one.

The reward is finally here. All the hard work is paying off. I
love this time of year when you get to have an all garden
dinner. YUMMY YUMMY! It reminds me of being a kid.

I haven't been as faithful to my blog as I would like, but we have been in Utah since Saturday, and it has been kind of crazy. Gracie had a doctors appointment today and another one tomorrow. Then we will be heading back home.

Today was like an early Christmas for me from Nate. I've been wanting a new camera, (yes I got one not to long ago) but I have been learning alot about photography and was feeling limited with my little point and shoot camera. Anyway today Nate bought me one. Yes you can say I am spoiled. I haven't had much time to play around with it yet but here are a few pictures of the kids playing at Grandma Karen's house.

I think that my two babies spent most of the time just in their diapers. For some reason, their clothes just kept on disappearing.

To Do List

Today I got to mark off two check marks from my to do list!!!
Faith was sleeping in the crib and Cooper has been sleeping in the
playpen. Faith is now in a big girl bed and Cooper gets to have a
real bed. (FINALLY) The crib was white but I painted it black. I
have always wanted a black crib, and thought I would
experience on our crib that only has to go through one more
child. (So I wasn't really to worried about ruining it.)

The other project we did today was make applesauce.
It brought back a lot of childhood memories. I never thought
that I would be the one canning applesauce, but never say
NEVER......

Last night was our monthly scrapbook night with the girls. I usually go and end up eating and talking instead of scrapbooking, but last night I finally got a couple of pages done. This first page is when Nate went to South Dakota for a coyote hunt. The second page is of Gracie and her cousin, I was making them get their picture taken so that I could practice.

The Walk With Sash & Sable

....this post is for my Scrapbooking friends, the task was completed with out any injury's!!
I have been feeling bad lately because I have not been spending very much time with our dogs. So this morning the kids & I decided to take them on a walk. I was a little bit nervous because I wasn't sure how good Sable would be on a leash. Anyways the walk went really good and it ended up being alot of fun.

This picture is not for you to look at my bum, but for me to prove that I was not being drug by Sable.

When we got to the canal they thought they needed to cool off!!

As you can tell Sash & Sable cooperate as well as my kids do when it come time to take pictures.

I have been wanting to take a picture of a sunflower all summer long, and have never had a camera when I go walking, well today I finally did. Yeah!

....the next Evil Knevil

..you guessed it Cooper is going to be the next Evil Knevil!!
All day today he has been trying to do his own stunts.
Jumping off the coffee table, standing on the 4-wheeler,
trying to drive the lawn mower, sliding down the slide
head first, and of course spitting at his sisters. I didn't

He surprises us with something new everyday.

Summer Camping

While I was packing Friday morning to go camping
with some friends of ours, I kept thinking to
myself is this really worth it. It seems like
when ever we try to go camping something
always has to go wrong so we usually start our trip
off grouchy, upset, and mad at each other. That all
ended when we got up to where we camped. To
make a long trip short, here are some of the things
we did and saw:

rode 4 wheelers, played in the creek, hiked,
got MUDDY, campfires, played horseshoes,
played CARDS, RELAXED, went horse
back riding, took pictures, watched
the lightning show, explored, cooked
and ate till we
could eat NO more.

We had soo much fun!! Can't wait till we get to
go back.
