Thanksgiving 2010

So my desktop computer finally decided to leave me hanging... which has my editing program on it. Oh how I miss it.. Hopefully Santa will bring me a new computer if I am a really good girl!!

We had a great week in Idaho spending time with my family for Thanksgiving.. There was only one thing missing and that was Grandma Judy!! I think we all felt a little lost without her there. Just isn't the same without her.

We started to Idaho on Sunday, Nate in his truck pulling the trailer and me in my car following behind. We made it just past Beaver when we hit a huge snow storm.. The road was covered in ice topped with a few inches of snow.. and it was slick!! Even though everyone was going extremely slow the semi trucks in the right lane started sliding into our lane and I thought they were going to hit me so I pulled to the side of Nate.. and to make a long story short... my left tire went off the pavement enough that my car kept sliding deeper and deeper into the median..and I was stuck in about a foot of mud... topped with snow!!! Glad Nate was in a different car and we were able to just get in with him and finish driving to Salt Lake...(Left my car with the hazards on and a note letting them know to tow it to the nearest town. *$240 later*) The roads were so scary off and on and it took forever to get to Grandma Karen's.. but we finally made it! Gracie was suppose to have some Dr. appointments at primary childrens on Monday but we ended up cancelling those because of the storm that was suppose to hit... Thanks to Dutch and Karen for letting me take there car so I could beat the storm and for going to Beaver to pick up my car!!

Got to Oakley on Monday evening and that is when the real fun started...cooking, cleaning, eating, sledding, 4 wheeling, shopping, dentist appointments... the list could go on forever. It was a full house when everyone was there totalling 13 adults..21 kids.. and 4 dogs! I am so grateful I got spend Thanksgiving with the coolest people ever.

This afternoon ended up being just PERFECT to take a family bike ride... in the most PERFECT weather, in the middle of November...with the most PERFECT kids... Its seem like all of our bikes are never working at the same time... one usually has a flat tire or a bent rim.. while one or two might have taken a trip to the DI for discipline reason..{that's a whole other story.} Well I got news for ya all... They All Worked PERFECTLY Today! Thanks to Nate for being such an awesome bike repairman! You know..life is just PERFECT! (even more PERFECT.. cuz most of us were still in our pj's)

The kids had a great time walking around the neighborhood to trick or treat... FAITH: was always the first one to a door to trick or treat and the first one to head to the next house.. (don't think she stopped running the whole time and came home with a blister on her foot from her shoes.) COOP: was always lagging behind checking out his candy in his bag and untwisting his handles to his bag that kept getting tangled... QUINCEY: kept saying "I wish some kids my age were out trick or treating"... most the night she was embarrassed that she was dressed up and out trick or treating with her little brother and sisters... and GRACIE: lets just say she was just being Grace, chilling and having a good time... oh wait she did pull a graceful move and twisted both her ankles just as we were getting started...

I am thinking this picture pretty much expresses how everyone is feeling at the time this photo was being taken.... good thing I was taking the picture and not in it cuz none of us were feeling the love!! Glad the kids had a great Halloween!! It was always so much fun being young and carefree, eating all the candy you wanted without having to worry where you were going to carry it the next day (butt, thighs, tummy, maybe your muffin top... )

Now my real thoughts on Halloween.... I might sound like the Grinch of Halloween but I am starting to hate it more and more every year!! This is why: trunk or treat on Tuesday...candy candy candy.... school parties...more candy candy candy... day care at the gym... even more candy...don't forget the school carnivals... usually a waste of time and money... and more candy again...then the real Halloween day comes and we trick or treat to get more candy.... SHEESH none of this makes sense... Why do we even have Halloween?? I really seriously don't know why we do... Anyways I will get off my soap box...

On another subject I sure am missing my mom today...Really would have enjoyed either hanging out at her house after trick or treating.. or even just a phone call would be nice. She always made the best orange popcorn balls for Halloween...

I found out Wednesday morning that mom had passed away. Mom has been living with some major health issues and has been tied down to a lot of bed time this past 6 months. My siblings and I have had a few conversations where we knew there was a good chance that her time could be coming soon. No matter how much time I had to prepare for that phone call, I wasn't ready. After I got the phone call, life started feeling a bit surreal. My mind knew it was real, but my heart couldn't understand it. She mentioned to my dad a few weeks ago, that if she couldn't get better that she was ready to go. Not many people get their wishes so easily and peacefully. They must have needed her in heaven. I immediately started packing so I could go and be with my dad, who my heart was breaking for, and the rest of my family. Brad was such an incredible support through the whole thing, I couldn't have done it without him. It took me twice as long to get packed because I felt like this A.D.D. child that couldn't focus. All I wanted to do was get in the car and drive to my Dad and be with my family. Again, Brad saved me. We finally got home around 8 pm. Kell, Matt and Amy had a chance to get their first. Nate was able to be their when the Mortuary took her body away and be with my Dad. After the news traveled, which didn't take but a few minutes, the love and support just started pouring in. We had people over vacuuming, and cleaning getting the house ready for family to get there. We had tons of people bring us hot, yummy food and goodies. Which we ate almost all of it. There were a lot of us there. Many people sent money, flowers and plants, and many warm wishes. We didn't have to worry one time what we were going to eat, and who was going to fix it. Plus we had wonderful ladies volunteer to help watch the kids when it was time to let us adult kids have some time with our Dad and Mom.
KayDee made it in on Thursday. She met us at the Mortuary to help start the planning. It was me, KayDee, KellyRae, and Amy that were present at the mortuary, helping Dad plan. Not the funnest of planning meetings, but one that will be in my memory forever. Our first thing on our to-do list was the Obituary. We only had one day to write it. How do you put one persons life into a couple of paragraphs? Then we had to figure out musical numbers. We all thought going into this that we would not sing, or be doing much of the speaking, but it turned out quite opposite. We were all involved and it was exactly how mom would have wanted it.
Amylee and Chris made it in Thursday..Linden came in on Friday, Greg made it on Saturday, and Dawn came in on Sunday. Saturday Kaydee decided to have Gracie baptised since everyone was in town. The spirit was so strong there. Between mom's death and the special spirit that Gracie has, it was a very moving baptism.
Through the weekend we practiced our musical numbers, did lots of talking about mom so we could get a life sketch written, and just did a lot of hanging out together. The husbands I think were getting a bit annoyed by the constant practicing of some sort of song because the piano is in the tv room. They never said anything but thank you guys for putting up with that.
Sunday my Dad went to church. He didn't do much sitting down the whole weekend. He just kept busy with yard work, answered every phone call, talked to everyone he saw, and just handled it with such grace. Anyways, we didn't want him sitting at church all alone, so we loaded everyone up and headed to church. It was testimony meeting. We were all surprised when my brother Greg got up there and shared his testimony. He has a beautiful testimony and it was wonderful to hear.
Sunday night was a viewing in Burley at the Funeral home. I woke up Sunday morning with extra large butterflies and couldn't get rid of them all day. I swear I was going to have an anxiety attack. I was trying to get my violin piece ready, did I mention before that I was the one that got to write and deliver the life sketch, and us girls had to sing a song. Plus it was the day that I had to see my mother in a casket. When we got there and I saw her lying there, looking so beautiful and peaceful and rested, with the beautiful flowers, all my nerves disappeared. It was this incredible feeling that washed over me. When I saw her about 2 weeks ago, she looked so tired and weak and it took everything in her to make it to dinner that night at the Uppercrust there in Burley. That would be the last time I saw her. That place will hold a special place in my heart. Anyways, the rest of the viewing went so good. There was a non-stop line from 6pm to about 8:30 pm. Lots of friends and family. My Dad really set the mood with this positive, peaceful feeling. We still shed a few tears with some special people, but it felt so good to be at peace with it.
It was fun to watch everyone in line pointing and trying to figure out which kid was what. There were 8 of us in line, and some of these people hadn't seen us in 15 years so it was like a little reunion with a lot of these people.
After, we were all starving so we stopped at Dairy Queen. We were in line ordering. My Dad gets up to order right before he turns around and says, "What does mom want?" And he just smiled and laughed between a few tears.
Monday morning was finally here. We got up and got everyone ready for the funeral. We got their early to run through all our songs. Their was a viewing for an hour before. Again, lots of friends and more family. We all had our chance to say our last good-byes. The funeral went wonderful. I kept asking mom if she could please get us through the musical numbers without crying our heads off. I know she was there, because we got through all of them. I just couldn't believe how flawless things went. A funny is we decided to have pork roasts for the luncheon after, and they had started cooking them that morning. When we were getting ready to start the funeral this overwhelming smell of Sunday dinner came through. It was like it was choreographed into it all because in the life sketch I talked about how coming home from church on Sunday the house would smell so good. After the funeral, we headed to the cemetery where we buried her by Cherrilyn, my older sister. Greg gave a thoughtful prayer and we said goodbye. It had been raining in the morning, but when we got out to go to the cemetery it was just beautiful and sun shining. We then went back to the church and have a wonderful Dinner of Pork Roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, jello, green salad, rolls, and yummy cookies and brownies. The rest of the day was just so nice. We just rested and talked and ate and laughed.
The grandkids actually took the whole weekend so good. They were sad a bit at the funeral, but just loved being with each other and that is how mom loved it. It was a little weird to all be gathered there without her. I know she was there in spirit and was pain free and could enjoy the family reunion with such a happy heart. Amylee and Chris headed out Monday, and so did Brad. Tuesday Kell and I got up and did some major cleaning and went through a few things. I really could have stayed there for a few more weeks. It felt so safe there. It was like I didn't have to think about real life. It felt like there was this bubble around us and it was just about us. Kind of like old times. My husband was so good at just letting me have my time with my brothers and sisters and my kids were so incredibly understanding at letting me just be a daughter over the weekend, and let me check out of my mom duties for a few days. I can't believe the weekend has come and gone already. I love you mom and will miss you greatly and I am thankful I am at peace with where she is and how wonderful she is feeling.

A Tribute to the best sister anybody could ever want and have!!! Alright I know I have totally been slacking on the blog... going to try to be better & update more often! So Christmas is all over, and Valentines is almost here, holy cow how time flies! So I did have a Christmas card all ready to print, but as you can tell none of you got them, thats cuz the printing never happened! We spent most of the day at Twin today, Faith had a dentist appointment for her front tooth that she knocked completely in. We will have to have it pulled in the next couple of weeks if it doesn't start coming back down to were it originally was. Anyways it was a long hot day in the car, at the dentist, and grocery shopping! So this is how we spent our evening......

I don't have any pictures of Gracie cuz she justed past the swimming test and can go in the deep end, so she is never anywhere to be found for pictures!

Cow Boy Caviar

5 - 6 Roma Tomatoes
3 Green Onions
1 can of Corn
handful of Cilantro
2 Minced Garlic clove
1 can of Black eyed peas
4-5 Avacodos

You can change this recipe as much as you want. If you want more of something, than add more, or if you want less of something, don't add as much!

Chop up tomatoes, onions, minced garlic, and cilantro. Drain and rinse the black eyed peas and corn. Mix together.

Add a couple of teaspoons of Tapitio (if you want it spicer, add more), a couple of teaspoons of red wine vinagar, and salt to taste.

When everything is chopped and you have added the tapito and the vinegar, than cut up your avacodo's and carefully mix them in. Always add avacodos last so they don't get all mushy.

Fruit Pizza

This is my mother in laws recipe, and I loved it so I thought I would share!

CRUST: 1/2 CUP BUTTER
1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS

ADD: 2 EGGS
2 3/4 CUPS FLOUR
2 TEAS. CREAM OF TARTAR
1 TEAS. BAKING SODA
1/4 TEAS. SALT
SPREAD ON A 13X17 GREASED COOKIE PAN.
BAKE 400 DEGREES 10-15 MINUTES COOL.

BEAT TOGETHER:
12 OZ. CREAM CHEESE
3/4 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
3 TBL. PINEAPPLE JUICE
FROST COOLED CRUST.

TOP WITH YOUR CHOICE OF:
PINEAPPLE TIDBITS
MANDARIN ORANGES
SLICED STRAWBERRIES
SLICED KIWI FRUIT
RED GRAPES
BANANA SLICES
RASPBERRIES

REFRIGERATE.

Lets just say yesterday and today have not been the greatest of days!!! This is how it all started. Last night while I was at play practice, Cooper jabbed a metal curtain rod up the roof of his mouth. Come to find out, they don't stitch the roof of your mouth, it just has to heal on its own time. The emergency room said that he would need to be current on his tetanus shot, and if he wasn't he needed to get one within 72 hours. Since this all happened at about 8:00 p.m. we couldn't find out if he was caught up on his shots till this morning. So we waited until nine and called in, and of course he wasn't caught up on his shots. (Yes I had to miss the group weight training class and Pilate's! So Sad!)

On another note, for the last couple of days Gracie has had some weird bumps on her face. Every morning when she wakes up they have been getting worse. Plus I think she has a sinus infection on one side. So she got to come to the doctors with us. (Oh and yes she had to miss the swimming primary activity. She was So Sad! )

The doc gave Cooper a quick look and said he still has a heart murmur, and that he needed to have 3 shots. He did not love that, but what kid does. It was all worth it in the end cuz he got 2 suckers out of the deal!

Gracie does in fact have a sinus infection, but she also has impetigo! YIKES, where the heck did she pick that up from? Oh and yes it is very contagious. Just my luck my other kids are going to get that too.

After all was said and done and we where driving home from Burley, I started to not feel so good myself. Gotta love the stomach flu!!! GROSS......

So to sum up the day.....WE FEEL LIKE CRAP!!!!

Oh and to add to all of this, it is the middle of June, feels like the middle of March, and it will not stop RAINING!

I know you are all probably thinking it is about time you blog about Quincey's birthday, (cuz I that is what I am thinking)! I guess better late than ever. Quincey invited both third grades for her birthday, and we had a webkinz treasure hunt and spun the wheel of wow to earn prizes. We had a great time even though it was raining like cats and dogs!! I can't believe that Cooper is 2 already! He didn't feel

really good on his birthday, so we just had a small little

party. He is really into cars(the movie),

jeeps, motorcycles and trucks, so that is what

he got. The day after his birthday, he made his dad take

him and his toy motorcycle on a ride on

the street bike, dirt bike and the jeep. This kid is

ALL BOY!

Ok so I have started to work on a new project...... I am going to print my blog into a book. I don't really like any of the programs that are out there, so I am custom designing each page. Yes it is going to take forever but I hope it will be worth it. I am going to start with the year 2008 and see how that goes. I am kind of hoping this will take place of my scrap booking. I post everything that I would scrapbook anyway, so I hope it works!

Recently when I was taking my nieces baptism pictures, Quincey brought to my attention that we never did any pictures with her baptism dress on, since it still fits her we got a couple of pictures. I starting thinking that if I didn't do it, she would probably be my only kid that didn't get pictures done for her baptisms. I am so glad I did, because now I will be able to stick it in my 2008 book.

I don't usually like to be negative on my blog, but I think I might be having a midlife crisis and I need to have a venting session. Lately I've been so irritable, angry and just plain pissed off. The sad part is I truly have no reason to feel this way, and I am not usually like this. I think that part of it is this.
It seems that as a mom I can't have two seconds to my self, whether its:

when I am asleep in my bed(Faith is always right next to me or on me.)

I can't go to the bathroom by myself without 2 watchers

I am usually never in the car by myself(always listening to what my kids want or watching a movie)

can't keep a water bottle to myself (I always catch my kids sneaking a drink and sliming my bottle)
can't take a shower or a bath without an audience

just bought a new cd the other day and my kids have already lost its case(you can never keep anything nice)

can't eat my dinner without kids wanting a bite of mine

I think I need to take a well earned (girls) vacation. I could care less where I go, but I am feeling like I need a day or two to my very own self. I think the only reason I am not completely crazy is that I take a mini vacation to the gym just about everyday. I love it! It is my time to think what I want & do what I want. (and to get rid of the fat I somehow got)

I know I sound a bit selfish, but sometimes venting helps you come back to the real world so sorry for the all this.
I would not trade my kids for anything in the world!!!!! I love them to the moon and back!!

On another note, I had the best dinner tonight. At Costco you can buy a pre mixed salad in a bag, and it comes with the dressing, feta cheese, cranberries, and almonds. Anyways I slice up some strawberries and opened a can of chicken and it made the best chicken salad. For rabbit it food it tasted pretty dang good!

Uncle Trevor and Aunt Kara came to visit this weekend. Nate and Trevor went to Sun Valley to do some fly fishing so us girls hung out and did some girl things. (including Cooper) Quincey and Gracie are painting the first letters to their names, Faith is painting a little bunny, and Cooper got into the Halloween paint when I wasn't looking and decided to paint his face.

Spring Break

This year for spring break we have to stick close to home because Quincey and Gracie have dress rehearsal for the play. Its been kind of hard thinking of fun things to do to keep the kids busy.

We had perfect weather this evening for a hot dog roast (or maybe a smoke out)so that was our fun activity for the day. Tomorrow we are going swimming and then taking a little road trip to Idaho Falls with Nate. I kind of wish we could say we went to Disneyland or on some fun trip for spring break, but it has been kind of nice just hanging out at home with the kids.

Piano Lessons

Quincey and Gracie have been taking piano lessons for the last couple of months from Grandpa Kent. The picture of Gracie is a little bit deceiving. She usually is not smiling this big when she has to practice the piano. (I am sure as she gets a little older she will start to like it more) On the other hand I think Quincey enjoys practicing and learning new songs. I hope they stick to it forever!!

Faith is having the hardest time transitioning from baby to big girl. She is not tired enough after lunch to take a nap, but she is begging to lay down just for a minute at about dinner time. After lunch I have to trick her into watching a movie, sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

The sad part is that Cooper is not far behind her. His sleeping pattern is also changing. He use to love to go to bed, and now when it is time he cries this really loud fake cry and yells no no.

On another note, we had a play day the other day, and this is Gracie and Jaceys way of having fun. The sad part is I think they thought they looked fabulous.

Yikes I am scared for the teenage years ahead of us. I can see myself right now telling Gracie "You can not go out with all that makeup on, get upstairs and wash some of that of before you go...."

This weekend we have been hanging out at Grandma Judy's with a couple of my sisters and their families. It is always crazy (and fun) with all the kids running around. Just a couple random pictures from our weekend. In the last picture me and my sisters were comparing teeth and noses so we had Libs husband Brad take our picture so we could compare. I am looking pretty scary, I had hair and makeup from the day before. YIKES! That okay, it is still fun to have a picture of us together. (What do you think? Do we look alike?) Oh and the first picture is Faith showing her true colors. Gotta love being 3!

This is how much Cooper loves Sosh. He wants to love her but only knows how to show her by hitting and biting. I was trying to get a picture of Faith riding Sosh but I was a little slow instead I somehow managed to get a picture of Cooper biting her. Sosh is giving Coop the look like,"what the heck are you doing? I think it should be the other way around and I should be biting you!" You know I always tell myself that I need to do more photoshoots with my kids so that I can get practice and someday hope take better pictures. So the other day we went and did a quick photo shoot, and it reminded me of why I don't do this more often. I forget how crazy my kids get and how stressed out I feel by the time we are all done. Plus I have to remember not to yell at my kids the whole time, how fun is it when MOM is yelling, besides it is really hard to smile when she does.

Anyways I am always glad we did pictures after the fact... Just a few to share.

It is so nice to have Sosh back at home.... Most of you already know the story of Sosh but to put it in a nutshell... Sosh use to be an indoor dog and we treated like one of our kids but she got too big and so she became an outside/garage dog. She has always been polite and gentle with the kids and just a dang good dog. Two summers ago we came across another English mastiff that needed a home so we took her. Well lets just say it didn't really work out. Sable never had any listening skills and was always a big dummy. Lots of town people complained about our two BIG dogs, so we sent them down to a pen down on the farm. Anyways we got rid of Sable because she was a big bully head and brought Sosh back home. She thinks she is in seventh heaven!!! She even gets to sneak in the house every once in a while as long as she doesn't get off her rug... I know she looks kind of sad in this picture, but it is her way of being a good girl.

Last week we heard that there was going to be tryouts for the play Oliver. I asked Quincey and Gracie if they would like to give it a try and they both said yes. First of all that is so not like Quincey to get up by herself and sing in front of people that she doesn't really know all to well. I was really surprise she wanted to do it.

After a couple of days of practicing the primary song, (If The Savior Stood Beside Me) we headed over to the show house to try out. As soon as we got there some kids were reading parts out of the script. (I forgot to tell them that they were going to have to read.) Instantly they both wanted to go home & didn't want to do it anymore. (Bribery really does work) Quincey got up there and did so awesome, every note was on tune and I could actually hear her. On the other hand Gracie got to scared when she got up on the stage and started crying.....

We just got the call last night..Quincey is going to be an orphan, and even better news they are going to let Gracie be an orphan too.

I wonder who made up the term "TERRIBLE TWOS!" Whoever it was had no clue what they were talking about........

Faith just had her third birthday. She used the be the nicest, sweetest, most loving girl in the word until one day everything changed. She is three now and she Rules the Roost. She has forgotten how to share, how to be nice, how to obey and to say yes. Everything is NO NO NO, MINE MINE MINE!!!

Yikes Faith I hope we make it til this little phase gets over with.

Okay now to the good side of Faith..... She was so excited for her birthday this year. She was old enough to understand what was going to happen. About a month before her birthday she would say to me. "Mom I want to have my Birthday," than she would sing happy birthday to herself.

I made her a cupcake tower for her birthday party and let me tell you it looked really sad. I always think that it is going to be so fun to make my kids' cakes, but they always turn out terrible. In fact it reminded me of the cake on sleeping beauty when the fairy god mothers are trying to make Roses cake without there magic wands.

After I was done I came back into the kitchen and Faith had licked the frosting off of about 6 cupcakes. I was so glad. I let her snitch in her cake all day, and than I ran to DQ and got an ice cream cake for everybody else.

Some of the things that Faith got: Dora movie, Dora umbrella, Dora PJ's, a baby blanket and burp cloth for her baby, and a singing Hanna Montana doll. (her dad let her pick that one out)

Anyways Happy Birthday Faith we love you!!!!

Thanksgiving

Holy smokes it feels like I haven't made a post forever!!! I can't believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone already. Before we know it we will be saying that about Christmas. I Really don't have much to say about Thanksgiving other than it was great, had fun just hanging out with family, good food, YUMMY pies, lots of cooking, lots of dirty dishes, lots of KIDS, Salty Banana pancakes(Thanks Kat they were great), gained at least 5 lbs, Christian lost McQueen, the boys playing with the cats, 4 wheelers, the Motorcycle, late nights, early mornings. Over all FUN FUN !!!

This week our assignment is HDR pictures. If you don't know what

an HDR picture is you need to google it and check them out. There

are some out there that are pretty dang amazing. Here are a few

of mine. I will add the rest when I finish them up.

Photo class has been quite interesting. I really have been enjoying

the assignments, but our teacher is a little bit on the crazy side.

Last week our assignment was still life again but using different

lighting. I didn't really get in to it all too much. I just don't see

myself taking pictures in the dark with only one light on. Its just

not something that is practical. Although it was good for me to

see the ways light can add different effects to your subject.

Double Dose of Dog Dewormer.....

Apparently Cooper likes Dog Dewormer. YUM YUM!!!

Here is the story....

Today most of my time was spent in the kitchen cleaning. While I was scrubbing out my refrigerator (which by the way was disgusting) I put the garbage can next to the fridge so I could chuck all of the gross food in it.

Last winter we got a parvo shot and some dewormer from the vet to give to our dog. The job never got done, and this stuff has been in our fridge for over a year.

So today when cleaning out the fridge I put the dewormer in the garbage can. I never saw Cooper get it out of the garbage, but he came into to kitchen with all this white stuff all over his face, and he was holding the dewormer syringe. Yes it was completely gone.

The Idaho Poison Control number is 1-800-222-1222. No worries, they actually give kids the same kind of medicine if they have pin worms or tapeworms. The amount that was in the syringe was a double dose for his weight and age. I haven't noticed any side affects so I am sure he is okay.

Today it started snowing and the flake were huge and so I was going to take a picture of them. Well we got side tracked and this is what I got a picture of instead. Faith and Cooper were helping me take the picture. Faith thought that is would be a better idea to take a picture of her. So I tried but every time I would try to take her picture she would look into the hole of an orange paint roller. (Do you love the Peanut Butter all over her face??)

Halloween is alway so crazy at our house. The kids get so excited that they are bouncing off the walls before they even eat any candy. Quincey and Gracie are being a little bit more careful with how much candy they actually eat tonight, because last year Quincey learned the hard way! (We all know to much candy will make you throw up.) Hopefully this year we won't be having any of that. These pictures are not as great as I would have hoped for but we were running late for the trunk or treat, and by the time we got home I was not about to take pictures.

Another great Halloween over with, and more candy than we know what to do with!

I was having one of those mom moments the other day, so I sent Faith and Cooper outside to play. Lately these two can go from one end of my house to the next and destroy everything in sight. It doesn't take them more than about 10 minutes!!! Apparently it the same outside. Yikes they are driving me CRAZY! I always have to remember to look at them while they are sleeping so that I can remember how cute and nice they really can be.

For Nate's birthday we spent a couple of days in Ketchum, Idaho.

On Saturday a guide took us out to the Big Wood River and taught

us a little bit about fly fishing. Not only did we have a blast, I think

fly fishing is going to be a new hobby for us. It is going to take alot

of practice for me to get it down, but Nate was fishing like a pro.
