Every time it gets quiet in the house and I can't find Faith she is usually upstairs getting into Gracie's makeup that she got for Christmas. Not only her makeup, but for some odd reason she always has to wear her dresses also. This is what she came up with today. (Some makeup and a little peanut butter)

Coops new Hot Rod..

Is this not the cutest car and kid in the world. Uncle Jerry sent this car to Cooper the other day and he just loves it. I thought he would love to get his picture taken in it but he was getting so mad at me so I had to bribe him with candy. (Like always) I'm sure he was thinking why is my crazy mom making me get my picture taken in just my diaper in my Hot Rod!!!

It's hard to be THREE!!!!

Faith is having the hardest time transitioning from baby to big girl. She is not tired enough after lunch to take a nap, but she is begging to lay down just for a minute at about dinner time. After lunch I have to trick her into watching a movie, sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

The sad part is that Cooper is not far behind her. His sleeping pattern is also changing. He use to love to go to bed, and now when it is time he cries this really loud fake cry and yells no no.



On another note, we had a play day the other day, and this is Gracie and Jaceys way of having fun. The sad part is I think they thought they looked fabulous.

Yikes I am scared for the teenage years ahead of us. I can see myself right now telling Gracie "You can not go out with all that makeup on, get upstairs and wash some of that of before you go...."

Today we had a little cake smash party for my niece, just a sneak peak... more to come

This weekend we have been hanging out at Grandma Judy's with a couple of my sisters and their families. It is always crazy (and fun) with all the kids running around. Just a couple random pictures from our weekend. In the last picture me and my sisters were comparing teeth and noses so we had Libs husband Brad take our picture so we could compare. I am looking pretty scary, I had hair and makeup from the day before. YIKES! That okay, it is still fun to have a picture of us together. (What do you think? Do we look alike?) Oh and the first picture is Faith showing her true colors. Gotta love being 3!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

This is how much Cooper loves Sosh. He wants to love her but only knows how to show her by hitting and biting. I was trying to get a picture of Faith riding Sosh but I was a little slow instead I somehow managed to get a picture of Cooper biting her. Sosh is giving Coop the look like,"what the heck are you doing? I think it should be the other way around and I should be biting you!" (If you are looking at this picture and your afraid, don't worry Sosh won't bite him)
(Amy don't look to close this picture is awful, but if I remember right it was you that said it doesn't matter what the picture looks like you still have the post it!! )

2 little monkeys

.....jumping on the bed. Well actually only one. For some reason Cooper was so infactuated with my cell phone he wouldn't jump on the bed. Faith usually has my cell phone and never lets Coop have a turn instead he had some important phone calls to make while it was his turn!

You know I always tell myself that I need to do more photoshoots with my kids so that I can get practice and someday hope take better pictures. So the other day we went and did a quick photo shoot, and it reminded me of why I don't do this more often. I forget how crazy my kids get and how stressed out I feel by the time we are all done. Plus I have to remember not to yell at my kids the whole time, how fun is it when MOM is yelling, besides it is really hard to smile when she does.

Anyways I am always glad we did pictures after the fact... Just a few to share.

Fun in the Sun

Man it is so fun to the learn new things. Is that not the coolest way to capture the sun? Hopefully as I try more the better they will get. (Thanks Amy it was fun!!)

Faith wanted her pictures taken and this is what I got.

As you can see Faith and Cooper love this baby girl (their cousin)to pieces. Whenever she is at our house Faith turns into the little mother hen, and she always says "Can I pet her?"

Sosha

It is so nice to have Sosh back at home.... Most of you already know the story of Sosh but to put it in a nutshell... Sosh use to be an indoor dog and we treated like one of our kids but she got too big and so she became an outside/garage dog. She has always been polite and gentle with the kids and just a dang good dog. Two summers ago we came across another English mastiff that needed a home so we took her. Well lets just say it didn't really work out. Sable never had any listening skills and was always a big dummy. Lots of town people complained about our two BIG dogs, so we sent them down to a pen down on the farm. Anyways we got rid of Sable because she was a big bully head and brought Sosh back home. She thinks she is in seventh heaven!!! She even gets to sneak in the house every once in a while as long as she doesn't get off her rug... I know she looks kind of sad in this picture, but it is her way of being a good girl.

I've been working on getting a Valentine picture of the kids so we can make some V-day cards. Yesterday was Coopers turn. He is so hard to get a good picture of because he is constantly on the move and I am not fast enough to keep up. Here is what we came up with. Hopefully I will be able to post the other kids soon.

Last week we heard that there was going to be tryouts for the play Oliver. I asked Quincey and Gracie if they would like to give it a try and they both said yes. First of all that is so not like Quincey to get up by herself and sing in front of people that she doesn't really know all to well. I was really surprise she wanted to do it.

After a couple of days of practicing the primary song, (If The Savior Stood Beside Me) we headed over to the show house to try out. As soon as we got there some kids were reading parts out of the script. (I forgot to tell them that they were going to have to read.) Instantly they both wanted to go home & didn't want to do it anymore. (Bribery really does work) Quincey got up there and did so awesome, every note was on tune and I could actually hear her. On the other hand Gracie got to scared when she got up on the stage and started crying.....

We just got the call last night..Quincey is going to be an orphan, and even better news they are going to let Gracie be an orphan too.

We recently bought this movie and the kids love the music on it and are always singing it.....

Last night when I went to tuck kids in this is what I found. Gracie and Cooper both in his crib all sprawled out, with every blanket, pillow and stuffed animal that they could find.

SHHHH.......

..don't tell my dad. While we were in Boise, all the girls

thought it would be so funny to paint Coopers fingernail,

put makeup on him, and dress him in this purple ballerina

tu-tu. It was all fun and games until he choked on a lifesaver

and threw up mac n cheese and hot dogs all over the tu-tu.

Good Job Coop, you showed those girls didn't ya?

Christmas PJ's are always a Christmas tradition with our family.

Faiths #3

I wonder who made up the term "TERRIBLE TWOS!" Whoever it was had no clue what they were talking about........

Faith just had her third birthday. She used the be the nicest, sweetest, most loving girl in the word until one day everything changed. She is three now and she Rules the Roost. She has forgotten how to share, how to be nice, how to obey and to say yes. Everything is NO NO NO, MINE MINE MINE!!!

Yikes Faith I hope we make it til this little phase gets over with.

Okay now to the good side of Faith..... She was so excited for her birthday this year. She was old enough to understand what was going to happen. About a month before her birthday she would say to me. "Mom I want to have my Birthday," than she would sing happy birthday to herself.

I made her a cupcake tower for her birthday party and let me tell you it looked really sad. I always think that it is going to be so fun to make my kids' cakes, but they always turn out terrible. In fact it reminded me of the cake on sleeping beauty when the fairy god mothers are trying to make Roses cake without there magic wands.

After I was done I came back into the kitchen and Faith had licked the frosting off of about 6 cupcakes. I was so glad. I let her snitch in her cake all day, and than I ran to DQ and got an ice cream cake for everybody else.

Some of the things that Faith got: Dora movie, Dora umbrella, Dora PJ's, a baby blanket and burp cloth for her baby, and a singing Hanna Montana doll. (her dad let her pick that one out)

Anyways Happy Birthday Faith we love you!!!!

During Thanksgiving I got a chance to do a little photo shoot with my sister in law and their cute little family. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Festival of Trees

Quincey was really excited to ride the bus to the festival of trees with her class to perform some Christmas songs. Sorry the video is really blury but I figured it was the thought that count. GOOD JOB QUIN!!!

The other day Gracie woke up and saw me putting on my

makeup, and of coarse she wanted some too. I told her she

could have some only if we could do a little photo shoot. It

was so much fun. I think I might start doing this for my

kids on there birthdays, that way I will have at least one

good picture of them for each year.

Thanksgiving

Holy smokes it feels like I haven't made a post forever!!! I can't believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone already. Before we know it we will be saying that about Christmas. I Really don't have much to say about Thanksgiving other than it was great, had fun just hanging out with family, good food, YUMMY pies, lots of cooking, lots of dirty dishes, lots of KIDS, Salty Banana pancakes(Thanks Kat they were great), gained at least 5 lbs, Christian lost McQueen, the boys playing with the cats, 4 wheelers, the Motorcycle, late nights, early mornings. Over all FUN FUN !!!

Thanksgiving wouldn't have been the same with this sweet little boy! Dutch and Karen giving the motorbike a try.
The kids kept on sneaking into the paper cups. Building towers with these cups entertained these guys for quite sometime.
