Happy Halloween

Halloween is alway so crazy at our house. The kids get so excited that they are bouncing off the walls before they even eat any candy. Quincey and Gracie are being a little bit more careful with how much candy they actually eat tonight, because last year Quincey learned the hard way! (We all know to much candy will make you throw up.) Hopefully this year we won't be having any of that. These pictures are not as great as I would have hoped for but we were running late for the trunk or treat, and by the time we got home I was not about to take pictures.

Another great Halloween over with, and more candy than we know what to do with!
Happy Halloween...

Testing the Limits

click on the picture to see it bigger

I was having one of those mom moments the other day, so I sent Faith and Cooper outside to play. Lately these two can go from one end of my house to the next and destroy everything in sight. It doesn't take them more than about 10 minutes!!! Apparently it the same outside. Yikes they are driving me CRAZY! I always have to remember to look at them while they are sleeping so that I can remember how cute and nice they really can be.

I Love You Faith & Cooper!!!

Class assignment

Some friends and I have been taking a photo class and I thought I would post our first assignment. The actual assignment was to shoot still life pictures. At first I was having a hard time thinking of things to photograph but it got easier each time. Anyways so here they are.

Happy Birthday Nate!!

For Nate's birthday we spent a couple of days in Ketchum, Idaho.
On Saturday a guide took us out to the Big Wood River and taught
us a little bit about fly fishing. Not only did we have a blast, I think
fly fishing is going to be a new hobby for us. It is going to take alot
of practice for me to get it down, but Nate was fishing like a pro.
Total fish caught: 9 (Nate 8 & Kd 1)

I LOVE MY HAT!

Today the kids and I spent most of the day cleaning out
drawers and closets, you know getting rid of the summer
stuff and making sure they each have enough winter stuff.
As you can see Cooper found his winter hat and had to wear
it all day he even had to wear it while he was eating lunch.
(Oh and by the way YES he is still wearing his pajamas)

#2 Lip Repair

Here are a few pictures from Gracie's last surgery. When we were at the hospital and I was taking pictures Gracie said,
"Mom are you going to put those on your blog"
I said, "do you want me too"
then she shook her head yes and got that embarrassed look she gets.

Gracie is so brave, whenever we get to the hospital for a surgery she is always so calm and we never hear a complaint or a cry from her. We are so happy that Grace is getting close to being done with all her surgery's.

The first 2 pictures are before surgery. Before surgery she always gets evaluated and they make sure she is healthy enough to get the surgery done. Then we go to the surgery waiting room. It has lots of things for the kids to do, color, play toys, read, watch TV, make a doll, pretty much anything you want to do you can do it.

The next two pictures are murals on the wall in the surgery waiting room.

When she gets to go home she always chooses a wagon to ride out in.

Cat Lady

Well I guess you can call me the cat lady. I don't want to be, but I just feel so bad when I see poor little innocent baby kitties that don't have a mommy. This is are newest find. I went to help my friend move a dresser and when I was getting ready to leave we saw this tiny little baby. My kids have been loving on this baby for a few days, but lucky for us Aunt Dee took it home for Audrey and Hayden to love on. (thanks Dee)

This is Faiths idea of putting her mascara on. I think she has been watching her mom way to much.

...a funny for the day

I thought I would share this funny kind of gross story with ya.
If you have been to our house recently, you know we have a toilet in Gracie's bedroom. No not one that is hooked up to water, we just didn't have anywhere else to store it until we remodeled the kids bathroom, so it has just been sitting in Gracie's room.

Faith has been working on the potty training thing for about the last month. The other day she was upstairs and yelled she needed to go potty. So I (me not thinking) told her to go on Gracie's potty, (I meant the one in the kids bathroom.) Sure enough she did go in Gracie's potty in her bedroom. YIKES not only pee, but POO too. Thank heaven the toilet was sitting on a big piece of cardboard and didn't leak on my new carpet. After we got it all cleaned and bleached I told Faith she couldn't use that toilet anymore, and from what I could tell she understood that the toilet didn't work and was not for peeing in.

So today I was cleaning and couldn't figure out why my upstairs stunk so bad. I knew it wasn't peed sheets because I had just washed them, & I knew there wasn't any peed diapers in the garbage cans cuz I just emptied them. You guessed it Faith had peed in the toilet again!!! You would think I would learn to move the toilet out to the garage the first time, but no it only took me two times. Hopefully she will not find the toilet in the garage.

PCMC

I have lost track as to how many times we have been to Primary Childrens Medical Center in the past. Gracie and I went there last week for a couple of appointments. One with her plastic surgeon, and one with her orthodontist. Gracie is getting ready for her 6th surgery. She has had a tough rode, but I think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. After this surgery she won't have to have another one until she is a teenager, and hopefully that will be the last one. Here are a few pictures from the past.

These last three pictures are of the people we see the most when we are at PCMC.
